Kendriya Vidyalaya AFS Bagdogra, established in 1981, is situated in the heart of Bagdogra in Siliguri 3 Km from Bagdogra Air Port. It is just 15 Km from Siliguri and 20 Km, from NJP. Amidst its natural beauty of greenery it has spacious building with a enriched library and well equipped laboratories. Also its has two computer labs and one Junior Science Lab. The two playground are adorned with a basket ball court and a badminton court respectively. It also has a well structured mathematical garden. There are two staff rooms in the two wings (Primary & Secondary) KV Bagdogra has been recommended as a model school a mother link school under project smart school.

Our Mission

KVS has a four fold mission viz:-

To cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government employees including defence and para military personnel by providing a common programme of education.
To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education.
To initiate and promote experimentations and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like CBSE, NCERT, etc.
To develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of “Indianness” among children.
